Peace

Life is filled with anxiety
And one's joy is there to steal
With it comes much perplexity
Please, peace be still

Peace is a state of rest
Not achieved when you've tried your best
Learn to sit and listen calmy
Friend, peace be still

Remember when the waves gave a frantic stage
The wind and storm did rage
Hearts melted; faith grew wane
Oh! Peace be still

Dreams

There's a place of awesomeness.
The perfect dream of mine
A place without pain; always happiness
Carefully painting the better me.

My dreams keep me sane
In a world filled with insanity
Consider the flight of a plane
Making a mediocre of gravity

I set out to achieve my dreams
Shouts of disapproval here and there
"You can't! Aye, you can't!"
But in my dreams I've already been there.

Well I hope this inspires you to dream
Set your sight and keep them fixed
Let no one steal your dream
For they are wishes a merry heart makes.

HBD To Me

Twas on this date I came forth
Patiently in mum’s womb I laid
Am so sure I didn’t kick her much
She could plainly testify to such

With much prowess I grew up with wisdom
Tried my best to abide by the tenets of Christendom
Grew up calmly in a large hood
But that did not change my mood
Photo
With dexterity of hands and mind,
I noticed I was/am above better
It was then necessary to have a branding “BOS”
As all could see that this dude has some substance

So this is another 11th October
The previous stock taking I do remember
“To be an answer to this generation”
Just as miss right said “God would take the glory”

Sleeping In the Deepest Dawn

Sleeping In the Deepest Dawn

I had my own share of the toil
Placing my bare hands in the soil
I had accomplished much for the day
Don’t care what critics had to say

With enthusiasm I welcomed the night
Grabbing my pillow, I slept like a knight
There would be no blinking
‘cos my eyelids would be hugging

Hard work had proved itself productive
So there would be no need for a sedative
I hope there be no disturbance
‘cos I intend sleeping even after dawn

I slept! Yes I did sleep for days
Missed lots of opportunities that came my way
Who shall awaken I and this country from this
‘cos we have indeed slept in our deepest dawn.

The Perverts

The Perverts

The pervert!
We thought they would lead us better
This they have proved wrong to the latter
A good route they had earlier took
Who could have changed the book?
The pervert!
They sit all day making laws
These were indeed all flaws
These laws would indeed bring doom
Abjectly placing us in a small room

The pervert!
They were suppose to take care of the educational sector
This they left in the hands of a Rector
Oh gosh! Where are we heading
Must we heed to their leading
The pervert!
My childhood friend would often say,
“The old will die; the young will grow”
This would one day hold sway
But when will this day finally crow
