Green Desert
There is a land far up in the north,
A land few would dare go to;
The sun so high in wroth,
This made the leaves beg for
shade.
The warmth
air gushes on the earth,
Making
frail all that comes its way;
Even the
mountains would not have it sway,
Leaving a
loud whisper in the ears of passer-by.
But
interestingly, this desert is quite different,
It has made
friendship with the rain of recent;
The rains
descended, grasses sprouted, life was imminent,
All could
see that this arid desert is now a green desert.
It was
indeed the envy of all,
The leaves
so green, they would not fall;
Everyone
wondered at such sight,
The trees
were indeed of great might.
