DANCING SHADOW

Dancing Shadow
He stood up and gave a good oration!
Everyone applauded at such wordings;
We all thought his shadow was standing,
But it was found to be secretly dancing.

This fellow was so nice,
You couldn't walk pass him without looking twice;
Six feet, broad shoulders, cute dentition,
You wouldn’t even notice any attrition.

Making friendship with him was my foolishness,
Sharing ideas with him was of no usefulness;
I once caught my shadow swinging,
But now, it has started dancing.

My heart was now well smitten,
Apologies I had so well written;
The right decision had to be made,
This was as important as having the queen of spade.

As I stood, the sun shone brightly,
It casted my shadow standing uprightly;
Am so glad my shadow is standing,
I simply hope yours is not dancing.
